The first annual Santa Clara Countywide High School Art Exhibition at the Museums of Los Gatos. In 2012, The Museums received over 300 entries from students at 23 county high schools. Three independent jurors selected 75 student submissions for display in the exhibition and 12 winners in seven categories took home professional development awards.
Included in the following pages are images and artist statements for many of the juried submissions.
Looking forward to 2013, we are confirmed in our belief that a program such as this offers exceptional opportunities for students to pursue continuing education and careers in the arts.
Our sincere congratulations to both the students and the teachers that have supported them.
